Comparative Research On The Core Values' Leading The Trend Of Social Trends Between China And Singapore

The report of the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the socialist core values that reflect the "greatest common divisor" of the people at the present stage from the three levels of citizens,society and the state.In the field of ideology,constructing the socialist core values in order to lead the social trend of thought is a major task of our party and government.China and Singapore are close geographically and interlinked culturally.Singapore's core values have achieved remarkable results in guiding the social thought.It is of great practical significance to compare the core values of China and Singapore to the leading of social thought systematically.Based on this,this paper focuses on combing and comparing the background,goals,institutions,teams,methods and effects of the core values leading the social thought between China and Singapore.Meanwhile,the author sums up the basic experience of the Singapore's core values leading the social trend of thought in order to provide some reference for our socialist core values leading the social trend of thought.Seeing from the background and objective,the author finds that although the nature of the two countries is quite different from each other,the two countries share the same cultural origins.They are deeply influenced by the Confucian traditional culture and are faced with the erosion of the western culture in the process of modernization.In the critical period of social transformation,China and Singapore put forward their own core value respectively and cultivate it in the entire society in order to lead diversified social trend of thought,which is beneficial for the two countries to strength the social consensus and enhance the cohesion of the country.From the institution and the team,if the action of the core values leading social thoughts is an organized and planned one,the main institutions and teams will be the leading subjects.The rationality of the institution settings and comprehensive quality of personnel directly determines the effect of leading social thoughts.Singapore's leading institutions are mainly composed of the Ministry of Culture,grass-roots organizations and schools under the leadership of the People's Action Party.China's leading institutions are mainly composed of the government propaganda departments at all levels,grass-roots organizations and schools and other components under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party.The leading team is the staff protection of the core values leading social trends.Having a good quality of the leading team is the important guarantee of the core values leading the social trend effectively.The teachers,civil services,theoretical researchers and the media team have played important roles in the process of guiding social thought in the core values of China and Singapore.From the mode and effect,the common way in which the new core values lead the social trend is the education propaganda,the environmental influence,the demonstration model and the system standard.In the leading way,Singapore has greater influent strength than China in the demonstration model and system standard.As far as the effects are concerned,by the guidance of the core values,the two countries have different degrees of recognition effect on the dominant ideology,the harmonious effect of the ideological field and the effect of improving quality.By comparing the core values of the two countries,we should draw lessons from Singapore,highlight the importance of the function of the Confucian culture,attach importance to the rigid constraints of the legal system,and stress importance on the party's and the government' s leading role in social thought.But what we should spare no efforts to do is to be based on China's national conditions,learn from the essence of traditional culture,update the educational philosophy,improve the rule of law,increase anti-corruption efforts and provide a solid material basis for the socialist core values leading social trend.
