Similarly, social conflict theory is Marx’s important theory on social criticism.The first time Marx described about the concept of social conflict, was in the letter to Lugar in September 1843. In that letter which is not long,Marx, the proletarian soldier, thought that the objective existence of social conflicts should be regarded as a reflection of the social conflict, social interests and social truth of the west.And it was in his co-written book "German Ideology" with Engels that Marx gave specific definition to social conflict for the first time. Based on the position of liberalism, Dahrendorf produced different views and opinions about the common proposition of social conflict.Another synthesizer of the theory of social conflict is Coser, he is a typicalrepresentative of the school of social conflict in 1950s-1960 s, with representative work "On the function of social conflict".Coser’s social conflict theory mainly elaborated and analyzed the function of social conflict, and he especially summarized with approval on the positive function of social conflict. Coser pointed out that human society is a whole that is formed by each part connected with one another, and it is hard to avoid friction, conflict and contradiction existing in the parts where they are connected.The cause of the conflict is the disadvantaged groups from lower social hierarchy and are standing in unfair position are seriously discontented with the society and finally revolt and struggle. Coser proposed a very important concept in conflict theory, that is, “Social safety value system”. This system has a positive social function for the relief of social conflicts. Coser’s social conflict theory has very important reference and guiding significance for China, which is undergoing social management and innovation.“Strengthening social management innovation” is the summary of our party on the basic law of human society development and that of socialist construction. From the perspective of social conflict theory, social management innovation is the inevitable choice of social development at a certain stage, is the logic requirements of economic system reform and political reform.Through social management innovation,on the one hand, it is conducive to continuously consolidate the great achievements of the economic system reform. On the other hand, it is conducive to maintain social stability, improve the living standards of the people and fully reflect the superiority of the socialist system.The innovation of social management in our country is aimed at improving the public participation in the management of social affairs, providing political and social basis for the eradication of exploitation, the elimination of polarization and finally achieving common prosperity. To implement and strengthen the social public management, we should take the idea, technology and system innovation as the basic starting point, not only to insist on the governmentreform, but also pay attention to the construction of the social "safety valve", in order to avoid the expansion and sharpening of social contradictions and conflicts.The theory of social conflict in the West has provided new ideas and new perspectives for the social management innovation in our country.
