The Study Of The Ethnic Chinese On The Political Participation In Post-soeharto Indonesia

The fall of Suharto's government and the end of the period of "new order" in 1998,Indonesia implemented democratic policy.The political life of ethnic Chinese has gradually been liberated and the political career has been opened,who gradually has been accepted by mainstream society and got equal political power. In 2014 election,the chinese ethnic campaigned for vice president.Through active participation,the chinese ethnic changed attitude and inregrated into mainstream society,who be a important part during economic and democratic development process.The chinese ethnic as this research object and analysis their performance in the election from 1999 to 2014.Attempt to explore the difference of their political forms,psychology and behavior,and what role has been played by the chinese community in the way of Chinese participation in politics.
