Research On Participation Of Social Organization In The Community Security In Tianjin

With the development of Chinese social economy, livelihood work has increasingly become an emphasis of government work. Moreover, people pay more and more attention to vital interests of themselves. Chinese society has gotten into transformation period since the early 1980s. At about the same time, China began to construct and reform social security system. The function of social security is separated from National Enterprises and Public Utilities (NEPU) gradually. And community continues the social security function that is separated from NEPU. The development of community security has perfected Chinese social security system and is of great importance to the system.With the development of the society, the government pays much attention to promote people's living standards. It is specified that the effort should be put on the construction and management of social organizations to play their functions in the public services. Meanwhile, the development of social organizations in the communities should be also valued along with their functions in the community public services.The thesis has introduced the case of social organizations participating in the community security in Tianjin to analysis the functions of the social organizations in the community security as well as the difficulties. Based on this, the suggestions are provided to promote the social organizations' participation in the community security. The whole paper consists of 5 chapters. The first chapter introduces the key issues and research meaning. The second chapter looks into the theoretical basis of community security and social organizations. The third chapter describes the current situation and problems of social organizations'participation in the community security in Tianjin. An example of Chadian Street of Binhai New Area is presented in the chapter 4 to analyze the difficulties of social organizations'participation. In the last chapter, recommendations are provided to motivate the social organizations'participation in the community security.
