A Report On The English To Chinese Translation Of Airports And The General Conformity Process

As a key part of the whole business,technological cooperation makes the EST an increasingly important role.Aeronautical English is an essential part of EST,the study of which can not only promote EST translation,provide examples for other researchers,but also foster the international cooperation in aeronautical industry.The General Conformity Process belongs to technical text,which is made to ensure the validity of the company's activities and other requirements.This report aims to discuss the English-Chinese translation of the technical text,with the translation of Airports and the General Conformity Process.This report,on the basis of the Skopos theory of Hans Vermeer,mainly attaches importance to studying the problems met in the translation process by case study in terms of words,sentences and charts.At the end of the report,the translator draws a conclusion of difficulties and shortcomings met in the process.It is hoped that this report can be a valuable reference to translators who are engaged in English-Chinese translation of technical texts.
