C-E Translation Of Coordinate Complex Sentences In Civil Cases Analysis Text

Civil Cases analysis text belongs to the category of Legal style,which has its unique features as well as common features as Legal text.Construction method statement is also characterized by its coordinate complex sentence.As political and cultural exchanges between China and the international is more and more closer,we always need to translate this type of text into English.In the translation of this text into English,the translating of Chinese coordinate complex sentence is the most difficult job.There are some problems to be solved,although the relevant experts have put forward some suggestions and solutions,there are they still exist some flaws and need to be improved,which is the goal of Practice report.The first step of this report is to determine the concept of coordinate complex sentence;Then,according to its characteristics are divided into paralleling pattern coordinate complex sentence,antithetic pattern coordinate complex sentence,general and partial pattern coordinate complex sentence and annotation pattern coordinate complex sentence and concluded their characteristics;Next,the author summed up the treatment methods of coordinate complex sentence in the translation practice and generalize four English translation strategies.Dealing with paralleling pattern coordinate complex sentences by linear translation,Dealing with antithetic pattern coordinate complex sentences by inverse translation,Dealing with general and partial pattern coordinate complex sentences by division translation,Dealing with annotation pattern coordinate complex sentences by synthesis translation;The last part is a summary of the translation commentary.This report shows that in order to translate the coordinate complex sentences in the Civil Casas Analysis text,the translator should not only focus on the accurate expression of the legal terms in the source text to preserve the flavor of the original language,but also the translator has the translation skills to adopt flexible translation strategies,so as to improve the quality of translation.
