The university stage is the important development stage of life.With the rapid development of social economy,people's life rhythm is quickening,competition is more and more intense,and interpersonal relationship is more and more complex.Nowadays,college students often suffer from mental health problems due to problems such as learning,love and interpersonal relationship,which leads to the fact that college students can't face the real life with a positive attitude and have various mental problems.The basic way of mental health education in many colleges is to set up related courses,lectures and psychological counseling.Gardening Course,as a teaching method,integrates gardening,medicine and psychology as a whole.It focuses on practice and experience based on students' real psychological needs.This study focused on College Students' mental health as an intervention goal,taking Gardening Course as an intervention method,using experimental quantitative research and qualitative data analysis method,focusing on understanding horticultural curriculum activities,and improving the effectiveness and feasibility of mental health of college students.Study one: It was made on the effect of horticultural courses on the mental health of college students.The control group and the experimental group-test design,the subjects were divided into two groups,with gardening classes as the independent variable,the dependent variable is mental health level.It's measured by these scales: emotion regulation strategies scale,adolescent emotion regulation ability questionnaire,meaning of life questionnaire in China,SCL-90,mental health of college students to study the role of horticulture course level.After 8 weeks of experiment on horticulture course,the conclusion is as follows:1,Horticulture course has a positive effect on the students' mental health,horticulture courses in the assault,somatization,obsessive-compulsive symptoms,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,paranoia and psychosis,the experimental group and the control group there were significant differences in the post test,only the terror factor does not exist significant differences.2,Gardening courses have a significant impact on the life meaning experience factor.3,There are gender differences in the effect of horticultural course experiments on mental health level.Girls significantly decrease compared to boys in the two factors of meditation and self-repression.Study two:Through the development of horticultural courses,a large number of qualitative data were collected,and the psychological mechanism of horticultural courses on College Students' mental health was studied.The following conclusions are drawn:4,Horticultural courses improve the mental health level of college students.Their psychological mechanism is mainly to improve the mental health level of college students by enhancing the connection between college students and the world,increasing positive emotions and promoting life.5.The horticultural works made in the horticultural course can bring students to relax and recover.
