An Analysis Of Chinese Latent And Transitive Verbs With Objects

The general language will be divided into transitive verbs.There is a special category of intransitive verbs in Chinese,which are both intransitive verbs and some or all usages of transitive verbs,and two usages can coexist,which is named as "latent and transitive verbs".This paper mainly uses the theory of structure grammar,this kind of grammatical phenomenon is summed up as "V+N",and from the point of combination of synchronic and diachronic,it describes and analyzes the manifestations and motives of the object phenomenon of latent and transitive verbs in syntactic structure,semantic level and pragmatics,and combines with the law of diachronic development of some transitive verbs,The evolution trend and mechanism of these verbs are investigated.The full text is divided into five parts.The first chapter mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the research actuality,the research content,the theoretical basis and the method adopted,and finally explains the source of the corpus.The second chapter explains and classifies the reasons for the naming of latent and transitive verbs,it divides into VO-type latent and transitive verbs and VR-type latent and transitive verbs,analyzes the nature of latent and transitive verbs,sums up the types of objects and examines the types of objects with objects in the latent and transitive verbs.The third chapter sums up the phenomenon of latent and transitive verb with object as "V+N" structure,by using the theory of "construction repression" to describe and explain,the main clause,semantic and pragmatic angle to analyze the reasons for its entry into the structure,it can be seen that the latent and transitive verbs in the process of the construction,and physical characteristics are highlighted and have the possibility of matching the object.At the same time,combining the theory of "lexical repression" and "inertial repression View",this paper applies the Gestalt theories and integration principles to deal with them comprehensively.The fourth chapter analyzes the prevalent mechanism of the phenomenon of Chinese latent and transitive verbs and combines the diachronic development of the related words to examine the development rules of these words and forecasts their development trend.At the same time to another similar grammatical phenomenon to make a pre-sentence.The fifth chapter summarizes the full text and points out the deficiencies of this study.
