Richard Strauss is one of the most famous composers of late romanticism.His works are famous for his bright colors,novel techniques and superb orchestration skills.The opera is one of Richard Strauss' s favorite genres."Salome" is one of the most representative operas of the composer.He portrays the character in a dramatic way.This article takes Richard Strauss opera Salome as the research object,and makes an in-depth study of the orchestration techniques of Salome.The first chapter outlines the brief introduction of Richard Strauss' s life and the works of Salome.By combing the creation of Richard Strauss in different stages and making a brief description of the creation background of Salome,the author tries to make the reader have a preliminary understanding of the opera "Salome".The second chapter analyzes the historical evolution of the tone color as a writing element,the individualized Orchestra of the opera and the use of different colors,and sums up the tone features of the orchestra in the opera "Salome" orchestra.It also lists the leading motives of the main characters in Salome.The third chapter makes a summary of the diversified tone color sound processing in the four aspects: the individualized tone of the opera "Salome",the intensification of the dominant motive color,the echo,the echo,the transfer of the dominant motivation and the change of the dynamics of the dominant motive.The conclusion summarizes and integrates the contents in the thesis,so as to have a comprehensive understanding of the orchestration techniques in the Salome of opera.
