Research On The Design Of Chinese Classical Paper Books

The historical origin of book design in China can be traced back to the bamboo slips in the Warring States period of the pre Qin period,and even earlier,in the Tang and Song Dynasties,the shape of books had stabilized.In modern times,Chinese book design inherited and developed the design idea of classical paper books,reflecting the unique personality and temperament of Chinese design.With the progress of the society and the improvement of the level of science and technology,the contemporary book design works are more colorful.How to inherit and innovate the design forms of classical paper books in order to adapt to the new cultural and ecological environment,many problems still need to be further explored.Through the study of the narration and design method of the book design process of "Confucius ",this paper makes a reference to the form and method of the classical and modern paper books,and further discovers and solves the practical problems about the cover,layout,the way of binding and the application of the material,so as to make the Chinese classical books.The design principle has been innovated and developed in the new era.In the introduction part of the introduction,the paper mainly introduces the object of book design,and explains the significance and value of the study of classical paper books from three aspects of design purpose,design content and design method.Take "Confucius " language as an example,briefly introduce the contents and main ideas of the book.The first chapter,through the in-depth analysis of the book design of "Confucius " in different periods,makes a market survey of the audience of the design of the classical paper books,and further understands the current situation and problems of the design of the classical paper books.In the second chapter,after determining the layout and cover style of the paper book design,the design process of "Confucius " is mainly described.The design innovation of the book is made from the cover,the title page,the format,the mode of binding,the application of the material and so on,to the final improvement and improvement.The third chapter is the difference between paper books and modern digital media,e-books and so on.The attached drawings include preliminary investigation data,concept design effect diagram and final physical effect diagram.
