The Preliminary Exploration On Tang Yuhui's Ancient Chinese Characters

Tang Yuhui is a famous ancient expert in China,who has made great achievements in oracle,bronze inscription and warring states.His ancient Chinese characters research achievements mainly included in "The warring states period inscriptions"(???????),"The dictionary of warring states ancient writing"(???????)and "The outline of the ancient philology(coauthored)"(????????)these three books.But beyond that,"A brief discussion on several problems in the study of the warring states script figure"(??????????????????),"Read the eight notes of brozen"(??????(??)?),and "The text of the seven seals"(????????)and so on are the main academic papers.Based on the comprehensive study of Tang Yuhui's ancient philology,we delve into Mr.Tang's practice of ancient writing,summarize the methods and characteristics of his tnterpretation of ancient texts,and make a reasonable evaluation and relatively objective judgment on his research results.The paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part of the article,including Mr.Tang's life and his academic introduction.At the same time,this part explains the current research status at home and abroad,as well as the purpose and significance of the content method of this topic.The second chapter is a review of Mr.Tang Yuhui's ancient writings,which is also divided into three small topics to explain the research of Mr.Tang's oracle,bronze,warring states script and the pattern of ancient texts:The first topic is the summary of Mr.Tang's main work and the compilation of reference books,introducing "The outline of the ancient philology"(????????)?"The warring states inscription"(???????)?"The dictionary of warring states ancient writing"(???????)and the compilation of several large oracle reference books.For the "The warring states inscription"(???????),we mainly refer to Liuzhao's "Newly published<the warring states inscriptions>",in which he has a relevant evaluation of the book.We choose a typical case study to determine whether the research is correct or not;as for"The dictionary of warring states ancient writing"(???????),we mainly refer to some of the master's thesis,combined with the existing literature and new unearthed material,and related to the academic research of scholars,in order to make an objective comment on this work and determine the profit and loss.The second chapter is the explanation of the difficult words in the ancient script.The first topic is the main research results of oracle,introducing Mr Tang's several academic papers,which can be divided into literal research and the compilation of reference books,to summarize Mr.Tang's research train of thought,main achievements and deficiencies.The second topic is the main review of the research content of inscriptions on bronzes.The main representative papers are "The inscription of the Lv bell"(????????),"Read the eight notes of brozen"(??????(??)?),"'Gan'and 'not dare' in the brozen"(?????“?”?“??”?),in which there are a lot of textual interpretation and some word analysis.In addition,the combination of the bronze and the historical and cultural interpretation of Mr.Tang's are worthy of attention.The third topic is the study of the warring states period.Tang Yuhui has dozens of academic papers,whose mainly writings are widely contained and are divided into seal,inscription on pottery,bamboo and silk.The paper compares the textual research with the latest research results,and summarizes the successful experience and deficiency of the textual research.The research methods and ideas of the above three subjects are basically the same.They are all from Mr.Tang's major works and papers,and combined with the latest and the most acceptable academic point of view to make an objective judgment of his academic achievements.The third topic is the study of ancient text theory,which is based on a study of "A brief discussion on several problems in the study of the warring states script figure"(??????????????????).It is divided into the study of the pattern of the ancient text and the research on characteristics in different areas,in which we summarize how Mr.Tang uses the physical features to interpret the ancient characters and judge some of them.The third chapter is the summary of Mr.Tang's academic research.We summarize the main methods and characteristics of Mr.Tang's ancient writings in the previous textual research,and his contribution and enlightenment to the interpretation of ancient texts.Based on previous researches,this paper mainly obtains the following research results:1?For the first time,this paper makes a systematic summarization and review of the main ancient literatures of Mr.Tang,deeply probes into the Mr.Tang Ancient philology related work,and learns how to combine the ancient Chinese characters with glyphs,phonology,and literatures.2?Summarize the gain and loss in the study of Mr.Tang's ancient writings,and make clear the excellent theory and method of the interpretation of Mr.Tang,so as to provide references for the study of ancient literatures.
