Chen Liang from Yongkang Zhejiang.In the Southern Song Dynasty,the mainstream of learning was Neo-Confucianism represented by Zhu Xi,which supplemented the absence of ontological content in traditional Confucianism and revolutionized the whole Chinese philosophy.And in later times it was classified as an official ideology.However,in Chen Liang's view,Neo-Confucianism did not help to solve the real problems at that time,it would only let the literati and officials become empty talk,wind pain and itching people.As a result of the different ideas,Chen Liang and Zhu Xi on the issue of justice for a long period of time,this is what was later called "Wang Ba Yi Li."In the first chapter,this paper mainly introduces the background of the Southern Song Dynasty,which is divided into two aspects:on the one hand,the political and economic background,mainly the Northern Song Dynasty at the beginning of the policy for future generations.Among them,there are advantages and disadvantages,and the disadvantages are that the realistic threats faced by the Southern Song Dynasty can not be solved,and the advantages lay the foundation for the prosperity of culture.On the other hand,the cultural background,mainly about the philosophical thought of Neo-Confucianism,because Chen Liang's philosophical thought is anti-Neo-Confucianism,so we should first understand the general context of the prosperity of Neo-Confucianism.Then Chen Liang's life and his friends,Chen Liang's life wandering,but he did not lose his heart,has been for the Northern Expedition to restore the cause of efforts,his will is firm.So the whole philosophy and his pursuit of life to maintain a high degree of agreement.The second chapter mainly discusses the main content of Chen Liang's philosophical thought,which is divided into five aspects:ontology,the relationship between heaven and man,the theory of knowledge,the relationship between merit and virtue,and learning as an person.The contents of ontology mainly talk about Chen Liang's views on Tao.He thinks that Tao is not separated from daily use,and opposes to regard Tao as metaphysical,which is contrary to the statement of Neo-Confucianism.Chen Liang's ontology is a kind of anti-ontology because of opposing the absolute expression of Tao,but at the same time he has no clear materialism thought,he thinks that the understanding of Tao should be combined with human's practice.Everything is unified in human practice.In the relationship between heaven and man,he said that heaven,earth and man could stand side by side,but he emphasized the subjectivity of man,and thought that "if man does not stand,heaven and earth cannot be singled out"' In the theory of knowledge,Chen Liang emphasizes the important role of experience.Although he also agrees with the method of acquiring knowledge from materials,he does not think that what is ultimately acquired is metaphysical.He regards knowledge as infinite,man's life can not be exhaustive knowledge,but all life to pursue knowledge and efforts.This paper discusses the relationship between merit and morality from four aspects:the view of human nature of natural and social human nature,the principle of unity of subject spirit,the question of moral origin and the reconciliation of moral utility."Learning as an person" is his response to Zhu Xi's request for him to be an elegant scholar,a thought that embodies his pragmatic attitude of not choosing a fine stream.The third chapter lists the main contents of the debate of Wang Ba's righteousness and profit of Zhu Xi and Chen Liang.Because of Chen Liang's anti-ontology attitude,his thoughts are not refined in philosophy,and usually appear fragmented and unsystematic.However,in the process of arguing with Zhu Xi,he focused on expressing his own unique views on some issues,and accurately responded to the heckling of Zhu Xi.Therefore,we can sum up the general thread of Chen Liang's philosophy.In the final conclusion,we briefly discuss the advantages and disadvantages of Chen Liang's thoughts at that time and some reflections on his viewpoints in the contemporary era.
