The creation of the film is closely related to the technological conditions,economic foundation,social development and political environment.The creation of movie special requirements determine the film have the nature of the goods,film need through certain marketing profits,through a certain cash flow for the next round of films.Because the creation depends on capital turnover,the film is different from ordinary artistic creation.As an art,film is also a key part of the art.To make the film more profitable,the first step is to control the cost of the film.The composition of the cost of the film is in every aspect,less than the cost of the film creation market,which we call "the small budget film".On the basis of controlling the cost of film,creating excellent film works,the next step is to bring the film to the market and make the marketing part of the film.With the development of new media,there have been many new approaches to film marketing.Under the development of social media,it can still achieve a good marketing effect.As the communication mode of new media environment,social media has greatly promoted the development of small budget films.Small budget films rely on social media,greatly reducing the cost of publicity,and innovative marketing methods are emerging.New media in the development,social media,the change in the environment has been a low-budget movie marketing need to cater to the market to keep pace with The Times,a low-budget movie marketing gradually become a subject worth studying.While watching a movie of a large number of successful marketing small cost in this paper,after combing the small cost method and the reason for the success of movie marketing,combined with the current social media environment,put fire in recent years research perspectives of "happy twist" team created a movie.Films such as "charlotte's annoyance" and "donkey's water" by the "happy hemp" team are all films with low investment,big profits and good word-of-mouth.Although both films were created by the same team,their marketing methods are different due to the progress of social media environment.Taking these two films as an example,this paper discusses the marketing strategies of small budget films in the context of social media.
