The decoration of bronze ware is a decorative pattern on bronze ware,which is rich in variety and complicated in variety.During the Shang and Zhou dynasties,many decorative patterns appeared in the development of the bronze decorations in the Xiangjiang River Basin.The local decorations were not only rich in variety,but also of high artistic level and aesthetic value.The bronzes of Shang and Zhou dynasties in the Xiangjiang River Basin have regional characteristics in terms of their shapes,decorations and casting techniques.The study of these local bronze,evolution can not only explore these patterns,but also can change according to the development pattern of Xiangjiang basin,with the natural geographical environment,religious beliefs,economic development and other factors,to explore the change of Xiangjiang basin social development and culture.This paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter 1 classifies the bronze decorations of Shang and Zhou dynasties in the Xiangjiang River valley.In this paper,the ornamentation is divided into two kinds:animal pattern and geometric pattern,and then the pattern of animal and geometric patterns are studied.Through the typing research,establish the development pedigree of ornamentation.The second chapter studies the characteristics of the times.According to the three sections of the Shang Dynasty,the Western Zhou Dynasty and the spring and Autumn period,the types,themes and styles of the Shang and Zhou bronze decorations in the Xiangjiang River Valley were summarized.The third chapter carries on the comparative analysis of regional patterns,from the decoration style,decoration and ornamentation types from three aspects of Xiangjiang basin and the Central Plains bronze and the surrounding area of comparative studies,analysis of similarities and differences between them,so as to probe into the Xiangjiang basin's Zhou Qing bronze ornamentation with local characteristics.The fourth chapter studies the cultural connotations of the local bronze decorations of the Shang and Zhou dynasties in the Xiangjiang River valley.
