Self-control refers to the ability of the individual active restraint impulse,regulate and control behaviors and emotions of themselves to achieve long-term goals.It can significant affect their psychological development and life performance,meanwhile,it can be improved by education and training.The self-control of the individual is not innate.It is an individual with the continuous improvement of their physiological conditions,through interacting with the external environment,to overcome the instinctive pulse constantly,and gradually learn to control themselves.Most of domestic and foreign research shows:self-control in early childhood is closely related to the later academic achievement and living condition,even the family relationships and career achievement when they grow up.Those individuals who showed strong self-control in the early stages,that the probability of success is higher in later studies and career.However,those individuals who showed lower self-control in the early stages,will get poor performance in school,career and life,and more easier to develop immune system diseases,even more criminal records included.Preschool is the key period to develop the children’s self-control.It is an issue of concern for educational theorists and practitioners to clarify the influence factors of children’s self-control,and to improve their self-control through appropriate educational methods.It is of great significance for both the individual and the society.Therefore,in this study,we analyze the influences of preschool children’s self-control by investigation,on the basis of clarifying the influence factors,carry out the intervention of children’s control.In the study one,select 5 kindergartens in Nanjing city,Jiangsu province,all middle classes preschool children and their parents and teachers as the research object,and analyze the influence of family,individual and teacher on preschool children’s self-control.In the study two,select 2 kindergartens,all middle classes preschool children as the object,and conduct the intervention training.Two kindergartens are both set up with two experimental groups and one control group.In the two experimental groups,attention focused training and behavior control training are carried out respectively,meanwhile,the control group keep normal teaching activities.Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of children’s self-control,and the evaluation of the intervention effects.The results of this study showed that:(1)In the family,the parents’ encouragement and warm behavior can promote the development of preschool children’ s self-control,but refusal and punish,control and protection is detrimental to the development of children’s self-control.(2)The degree of parental supervision on children’s behavior is higher,the level of children’s self-control is higher.(3)In the parent-child relationships,the close relationships between father and son,mother and child are beneficial to children’s self-control,while the conflict of parent-child relationships is bad for the development of children’s self-control.(4)The close relationship between teachers and students have a positive effect on children’s self-control,while the conflict between teachers and students is not conducive to the development of children’s self-control(5)The concentration of attention level is higher,the higher self-control that they will have.(6)Through two months of intervention training for children,conversion rules of cognitive behavior training can improve children’s self-control ability,in addition,through focus and transfer of attention training can also significantly improve children’s self-control level... |
