The Stage Forms In The Movie Language

This dissertation is using the stage form as the breakthrough point to study the modern movie.Firstly,the early movie history will be carding,and here we are going to categorise two kinds of stage in the early period.For one thing is a single-lens short which utilising a stable viewpoint with the brief stage scene.For the other side,the stage dispatch reveals the theme of the crucifixion through the stage scenery,that could be recognised as the earliest realistic stage scene.By investigating the concept and the stage scene in the early movie,we could conclude that the stage at that time is mostly an attraction to arouse the surprise of the audience.As entering the classical Hollywood time,I divide the stage into different parts by the narrative elements,along with discussing the meaning in the various forms.There mainly are the stage feature film,the film which adapts from the formal masterpiece of drama,the stage wonder as a narrative element and the film that joined song and dance.Furthermore,an unusual kind of style which shows an internal rebellion in the structure of the wheels within wheels.It doesn’t have a real revolutionary revolting sense in the movie that using the stage as the narrative element.Tracking down the path of the modern movie,and discovering the movie as a manifestation.Through the categorisation,I intend to uncover how the modern movie reconstructed the modern experiences of human by the stage forms.Two principal features expose in the stage as the manifestation,firstly,the exibition of the body has changed.Besides,the closure of the stage was breaking by the alienation.Under the definition of the overall characters,I categorise the stage forms as the definitive stage,abstract stage and the stage that using other dramatic elements integrally or locally.In the final chapter,going down with the classification before,I will examine the extreme situation in the different stage forms.It could summarise as an inevitable ending that the woman should be dead in the end,a denial to the divine world,moral thinking towards the community’s fate and an abstract action to reconstruct the history.Through the movie list that I have seen above,these stages have two general features.On the one hand,the stage is an external expression of the desire.On the other hand,the performance could deduce as a strategy of resistance.
