The German philosopher Ernst Cahill(ERNST CASSIRER,hereinafter referred to as Cassirer)is a famous German philosopher,one of the main founder of the philosophy of culture.In his main book,"human theory",Cahill carried out a rich and innovative study of people with a unique symbolic form of philosophy.The study of man is the starting point,the core content and the final attribution of Cassirer’s cultural philosophy.As a cultural philosophy,Cahill’s symbolic form philosophy,in essence,is also a kind of human science,that is,the type of cultural philosophy.It is an important form of philosophy of human science.Since the middle of 90s,with the rapid development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the deepening of subjectivity research in philosophy,human studies have become one of the most important hotspots in Chinese philosophy research.In order to further promote the Marx doctrine theory research,we should focus on the theme of the era of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,absorb all outstanding achievements of human thought,has introduced the China characteristics and to meet the requirements of the times to Marx’s new research achievements.From outside the box.As one of the most important theories of human learning in the present and contemporary world history,Cahill’s thought can provide us with useful resources and reference in this respect.This paper discusses the ideological basis and theoretical origin of Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies,introduces the main content of Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies,and on this basis,try to Cassirer’s theory of human evaluation,theoretical contributions and limitations of Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies,Kathy,reveals the theoretical and practical significance of thought and contemporary value.This article is composed of the preface and the main body,and the text is divided into four parts.The first part:the theory study of the origins of Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies:Germany’s new humanism,Marburg school and the Freiburg School of thought.Cahill inherited and developed these ideas critically.The second part introduces the main content of Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies.First,as a symbolic animal,it is a special existence.That is,as the existence of symbols,as the existence of specific time and space,and as the existence of the free world.Secondly,it discusses the embodiment of culture in the symbolic world.Finally,it shows the application of symbolic activities in mythology,language,art,history and science.The third part:try to evaluate Cahill’s theory of humanism from the perspective of Marx’s humanism.On the one hand,the theoretical contribution affirmed the Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies,on the other hand,reveals his theory of historical and theoretical limitations.The fourth part:mainly discusses the practical significance of the theory of Cassirer’s people.That Cassirer’s thoughts of human studies for human cultural consciousness,the concept of social development and the ideological and cultural construction,it is of great realistic significance.
