Research On The Teaching Of Chinese Characters In The Primary Stage Of Foreign Chinese

With the rapid development of education in Chinese,the teaching work such as the teaching of Chinese characters has gain many attentions from some experts,especially the Chinese language teachers.In Chinese teaching,the Chinese characters has become a big problem for foreign students,which can not avoid when Chinese learners first contact with Chinese characters.Therefore,how to teach Chinese characters to read and write is the most important question for Chinese language teachers.It is worth mentioning that,with the continuous development of Chinese teaching in foreign languages,many experts have obtained great achievements in teaching Chinese characters.However,the research on the teaching of Chinese characters within the foreign beginners who don't have any foundation of Chinese in Thailand is still in its initial stage,without a systematic research result.Based on the practice on Surat Thani Royal University during the internship,the writer first investigates the present situation of the primary stage of Chinese characters teaching,and then finds out the difficulties and problems in the teaching.Next,with the present situation of the primary stage of Chinese character system and the learning features of the Chinese language beginners,try to explore some effective methods to teach Chinese characters.Finally,gain enlightenment in foreign Chinese character teaching so as to improve the foreign Chinese character teaching,as well as have an effect on the foreign Chinese character teaching.
