The study used the change detection paradigm and changed various kinds of interference to research the effect of component radicals interference on word-shape recognition in children with Chinese spelling difficulties.This study consisted of three parts.The first part is to examine the effect of interference radicals processing order on word-shape recognition in children with spelling difficulties.The result shows that in accuracy rate,spelling difficulty group is significantly lower than normal group.Conditions had significant main effect;In response time,spelling difficulty group is significantly longer than normal group.Conditions had a significant main effect.The experiment shows that interference effect on children with spelling difficulty is much larger than that on normal children.The second part is to investigate the effect of visual interference on word-shape recognition in children with spelling difficulties.The results shows that In accuracy rate,normal group is significantly higher than difficult group,conditions had a significant main effect,interactive effect of condition and group is significant too.Further simple effect analysis shows that normal group shows no difference between no and low interference,while spelling difficulty group differs a lot.In response time,normal group is significantly faster than group,conditions have a significant main effect on the,but the interaction effect of condition and group is not significant.The third part studies the effect of voice interference on word-shape recognition in children with spelling difficulties.The result shows that in the accuracy rate,the normal group have no significant difference with spelling difficulty group.The conditional main effect is remarkable,and the condition group interactive effect was not significant.In response time,the normal group have no significant difference with spelling difficulty group.The conditional main effect is significant.The interactive effect of the condition and group is not significant.According to the experimental results,we concluded that the component radicals interference has larger effect on word-shape Recognition in Children with Spelling Difficulties,like the following.(1)the radicals processing order has a greater influence in Children with spelling difficulties.(2)stroke interference have a significant effect on the word-shape recognition in Children with spelling difficulties.(3)Voice interference can affect the response time and accuracy rate of the normal children.In summary,in process of the word-shape recognition,the children with spelling difficulties are more likely to be affected by radicals processing order,stroke interference,normal children are more likely to be affected by voice interference.
