With the development of the world economy,all the countries in the world are connected as a community.With the continuous strengthening of the relationship between China and Africa,Burundi has now more and more frequent cultural exchanges with China,more and more Burundi students are coming to study in China.But due to the great cultural difference between the two countries,this make us Burundi students after coming to China appeared many not adapt to the situation.That kind of not adapt to the life and culture has the direct impact on the Chinese acquisition.This paper starts from the three aspects: life,culture and psychology;inspect difficult Burundi students encounter in learning Chinese in China,investigate the relationship between Burundi students acculturation and Chinese learning effect.This paper is divided into four parts;the specific contents are as follows:The first chapter illustrates the research methods used in this thesis,and summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars' research results on the cross-cultural adaptation of foreign students in China and the Chinese teaching and learning in Burundi.The second chapter analyzes including diet and climate environment,life adaptation,including classroom language environment and extracurricular language environment,language adaptation effect on second language learning to adapt to the situation,including the values and customs,psychological.In the third chapter,through the questionnaire and interview,the author tries to find out the current situation of Burundi students' adaptation to life,language and psychology.The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation of Chinese adaptation has brought about by the effect of the acquisition of the problem,and puts forward corresponding solutions according to the actual problems,to benefit students Chinese acquisition effect in Burundi in improving.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the results of this research,and puts forward some countermeasures to solve the problems existing in the study process of Burundi overseas students in China.
