Perfectionism is an individual's personality traits as he strives for perfection and fulfils a variety of tasks.Aggression refers to a psychological and behavioral tendency that the individual takes a direct or indirect way to hurt the attacked object and causes the attacked person to be destructively affected. In this study, the Chinese version of the Frost Multidimensional Perfection Questionnaire(CFMPS)was used to screen out the subjects who met the experimental requirements, and then the impact of perfectionism and left-behind experience on the explicit and implicit aggression of undergraduates in frustration situations was studied. In this experiment,we adopt a mixed experimental design of 2(perfectionism level: high,low)×2(left-behind experience: yes,no)×2(frustration situation: yes,no),among which left-behind and perfectionism are within-subjects design, while frustration situation is between-subjects design. The results of the study are as follows:1.Using explicit aggression as a dependent variable, frustration situation, perfectionism, and left-behind experience as independent variables,an analysis of variance found: main effects of frustration situation were significant(F=151.687,P=0.000),and the perfectionism main effect was significant(F=24.138,P=0.000),the main effects of left-behind experience were significant(F=4.578,P=0.034).The interaction between frustration situation and left-behind experience was significant(F=4.534,P=0.035),and the results of simple effect analysis showed that, regardless of the students with and without left-behind experience, the impact of frustration situations on explicit aggression was significant(F=104.6,P=0.000)(F=51.93,P= 0.000);in the context of frustration, there is a significant difference in the impact of the presence or absence of left-behind experience(F=7.15,P=0.009).There is a left-behind experience than in an no left-behind experience.Subjects were significantly more aggressive, but in the absence of frustration situation, there was no significant effect of leaving the defender to experience explicit aggression(F=1.24,P=0.267).2.Using implicit aggression as a dependent variable, frustration situation, perfectionism, and left-behind experience as independent variables,an analysis of variance found that: the main effects of frustration situation were significant(F=308.98,P=0.000),and the perfectionism main effect was significant(F=61.522,P=0.000),the main effects of left-behind experience were significant(F=5.991,P=0.016).The interaction between frustration situation and perfectionism was significant(F=5.566,P=0.020).The results of simple effect analysis showed that the impact of frustration situation on implicit aggression was significant for both high and low perfectionist subjects(F=117.07,P =0.000)(F=197.27,P=0.000);the impact of perfectionism on implicit aggression is also significant in both frustrated and no-frustrated situations(F=66.92,P=0.000)(F=15.68,P=0.000).The interaction between frustration situation and left-behind experience was significant(F=24.694,P=0.000),and the results of simple effect analysis showed that, regardless of the presence or absence of left-behind experience subjects, the frustration situation had significant influence on the implicit aggression(F=80.01,P=0.000)(F=253.46,P= 0.000);in the frustration situation, whether there is a left-behind experience has a significant difference in the impact of implicit aggression(F=22.93,P=0.000),with left-behind experience than without left-behind experience subjects were more aggressive, but under no-frustrated situations, there was no significant effect of left-behind experience on implicit aggression(F=2.42,P=0.122).Analysis conclusion:1.College students show a higher level of explicit aggression in the face of frustration situations than in no-frustration situations;High perfectionism college students are more explicit aggressive than the low perfectionists;Must be higher than those without left-behind experience.Regardless of the students with or without their left-behind experience, the explicit aggressive in the situation of frustration was higher than that in the situation of no-frustration;in the context of frustration, there was a significantly higher level of explicit aggression among the college students than that of the left-behind experience. However, under the situation of no-frustration,it is not significant whether there are any left-behind experiences that are significantly aggressive.2.Undergraduates have a higher level of implicit aggression in the situation of frustration than in the situation of no-frustration;high perfectionism college students have stronger implicit aggression than low perfectionism;there are left-behind college students who perform better than those without left-behind experience.Higher implicit aggressive.Regardless of high and low perfectionism college students,in the context of frustration, the implicit aggressiveness is higher than in the no-frustration situation;with or without frustration, the high perfectionism college students have more implicit aggressive than low perfectionism.Regardless of whether or not there are left-behind experience college students, there is a higher level of implicit aggression in a situation of frustration than in a situation of no-frustration;in the situation of frustration, there is a left-behind experience that is higher than the implicit aggression of a college student without a left-behind experience, but in the context of no-frustration,whether or not there is a left-behind experience has no significant effect on implicit aggression.
