| In the history of the development of the Chinese Central Plain jade,Hindustan jade was the general name for the jade styles in Central Asia,West Asia,and South Asia.Hindustan jades had a positive impact on the development of the Central Plains jade.This article focuses on the Qing Dynasty as the time limit,takes Hindustan jade as the object of study,systematically studies the historical origin,development,artistic features,and regional Hindustan jade style significance,historical value and the inheritance of modern jade from multiple perspectives through the analysis of ancient books and pictures of the actual objects.According to the analysis,it was found that Hindustan the term can be first traced back to the Yuan Xianzong Period,which was in its infancy during the Sui and Tang Dynasties.It reached its peak in Central Plains in the middle of the Qing Dynasty.Through the summarization of its material,shape,ornamentation,craftsmanship,and regional style,Hindustan jade is the main material used in this type of hetian jade,green jade and jasper.Its shape and structure are mainly food and miscellaneous,decorative patterns are mainly floral.Its shape and ornamentation are of a distinct Islamic art style.They are exquisitely carved and extremely thin.Mughal and Ottoman areas are located in the Central Asian region along the Silk Road.Both are influenced by Islamic culture.Their jade carving arts had many similarities in common.In the Qing Dynasty,the Central Plain Jade and Hindustan Jade had a wide range of cultural and artistic exchanges and borrowed from each other.Under the love and guidance of the Emperor Qianlong,the Chinese characteristics were added based on the inherited jade crafts and decorations,It brings a new source of creative inspiration to the artistic style of the jade wares in the central plains,which influenced the jade style in Central Plain a lot.The author of this article designs and produces her thesis project “Qing Pingyun ” based on the jade’s shape system,and artistic characteristics,integrating the artistic style of the jade into the modern jewelry design,To express my wish for a better life.Through the study of the Hindustan jade,it provides art supplements and corroboration for the comprehensive evaluation of arts and crafts in the Qing Dynasty.Hindustan jade provides a physical reference for future generations to understand the cultural and artistic exchanges between different regions by its special art form,which is a witness of Chinese-foreign cultural exchanges and integration.Either the evolution of its art form or the return of artistic creation,its historical value has a profound influence. |
