Research On Music Features And Performance Of Beethoven's "The 18^thPiano Sonatas"

Sonata is an important music genre during classical period and plays a very important role in the music life of three composers of Viennese classical school,while famous pianist and composer Ludwig van Beethoven plays an inheritance and promotion role in the development of piano sonata.32 piano sonatas created in his life have promoted sonata to the peak of development.His sonatas not only extend the tradition of predecessors and follow classic style,but also subvert people's hearing at that moment with its unique characteristics and richer emotional contents and affect the direction of music development deeply.Among his 32 piano sonatas,"the 18th piano sonata" is the most mature sonata in his middle creation;at the same time,it is a sonata with reform significance.Beethoven started to create this work in 1802;during the same period,Beethoven wrote the world famous "Heiligenstadt Testament".It can be said that these two have blood and flesh relation.The reform of Beethoven for sonata starts to change from this piano sonata and then evolves to sonata with individualism tendency gradually.However,the special "heroism" of Beethoven starts to present in this sonata in a looming way,which makes the thought of music in sonata more profound and complicated.This sonata should attain due attention in academic field no matter from musical structure or expression of emotions.Therefore,I take the research on creation characteristics and play of Beethoven's "the 18th Piano Sonata" as the topic,analyze and study it from musical form,harmony,philosophical set and other aspects and enrich its theoretical knowledge to take it as the theoretical support to improve performance level.This paper mainly consists of four parts.The first chapter introduces the origin of piano sonata.It mainly introduces the historical status,formation and development of piano sonata,analyzes and makes research on the background for the generation of piano sonata.The second chapter summarizes the repeated analysis of piano sonatas created by Beethoven during the middle period.This chapter mainly analyzes and makes research on historical status of Beethoven's piano sonatas created during middle period as well as reform for music creation characteristics of his piano sonatas during the middle period.The third chapter analyzes the music features of Beethoven's "The 18th Piano Sonata".It analyzes and summarizes from aspects of music structure features,effects on introduction,internal development of main subject and expansion of end size etc.The fourth chapter elaborates the play of Beethoven's"The 18th Piano Sonata".This chapter makes elaboration from playing techniques of music as well as classical style performance focus of Beethoven.Through classification and summarization of four chapters of the whole music,it explains the playing techniques that should be noticed and mastered during playing.The writer will analyze playing from force,pedal and touch key mode etc,and then make the player better master the piano sonata of Beethoven,well control the degree of playing techniques,make player elaborate this work in a better and more accurate way and finally realize the research value of final play.In the conclusion part,it makes further summarization from discussions in above four chapters.This paper tries to make all-around analysis of "the 18th Piano Sonata" with a lot of literature data and scientific discussions,which helps the player to be more profound and more faithful to original play.
