This paper uses qualitative research methods to dynamically study and analyze the learning motivations formed by the students at different stages of the “Chinese Bridge” competition.Starting from the close-range motivation,instrumental motivation,achievement motivation,outcome motivation,intrinsic motivation,and integration motivation,puts forward the corresponding strategy chart,with the changes in the time and the tasks of the “Chinese Bridge” competition,learners' learning motivation has also changed.In the early stage of training,learners' most needed learning motivations are short-range motivation,external motivation,and instrumental motivation.At this time,teachers need to use the teaching strategy of “using the competition to promote learning” to inspire teaching strategies.The motivations that are needed most for mid-term learners are task-based motivation and result-based motivation.Task-based motivation also stimulates and promotes results-based motivation.At this time,teachers need to use the teaching strategy of “using the competition instead of learning” to stimulate the period of time.The learning motivations most needed by learners at the later stage of training are achievement motivation and intrinsic motivation.At the same time,achievement motivational activity stimulates and promotes intrinsic motivation.At this time,teachers need to use the teaching strategy of “using the competition to drive learning” to help learners motivate and maintain what they need.Attribution runs through the entire learning phase and is the connection point for learning motivation at each stage.It plays an important role in linking up with others,teachers need to use the teaching strategy of “taking the competition to promote the reflection” to help learners to maintain the motivates.When the learner has the above learning motivation and corrects attributions at each stage,it may eventually stimulate and form a convergent motivation,which is also the highest level of learning motivation.
