The Gold Award Family Ethics Play Father Image Research

During the decades of development,family ethical drama has become the mainstream of the TV market.Compared with other topics of TV series,it can reflect the social ethical values directly and profoundly.Because of this,the popularity of family ethical drama won the audience’s affection and created hot topics in society one after another.However,from the vertical perspective,it’s not hard to explore that woman in the family ethical drama still plays a main role,especially the image of mother,deeply concerned by each person.In the contrast,father figure in family ethical drama is a bit out of balance.In the family structure of China,as always being a dominant figure,father influences on the family and children further.Therefore it’s significant to shape the father figure in family ethical drama.To study the father figure in a play,this article attempts to unscramble TV play text comprehensive,in-depth and detailed by using the example of family ethical drama that won the Golden Eagle Award.And on the basis of role theory in social psychology,I analyzed the father figure in family ethical drama in details from several aspects,such as family identity,social role,ages,knowledge and role weighting,etc.Meanwhile I also adopt theory of social communication and divide the father figure into positive and negative image from the point of view of evaluation.Finally through a series of analysis,I point out the imperfection of father figure in family ethical drama as well as the responsibility and meaning of father figure.It will encourage people to rethink and reacquaint the relationship between family and society in real life.In addition,it can explore the responsibility of domestic family ethical drama.This paper is divided into four parts: Chapter one is a summary of family ethical drama and Golden Eagle Award.Chapter two is a detailed statistical analysis of father figure in family ethical drama that won the Golden Eagle Award.Chapter three classifies the image of father in family ethics from the point of view of role.Chapter four analyses the evolution and reason of father figure in family ethical drama and makes a thorough inquiry about defects and responsibility on shaping father figure in family ethical drama.
