Wu-xing Yao And Literature In Tang Dynasty

Yao clan in Wu-xing is an aristocratic family in the Middle Ages.Although the current researches on Wuxing Yao is filled,which focuses on individual members' researches,lacking of overall care.This paper takes the Yao clan in Wu-xing Tang Dynasty as the object,studying the family's development,culture,literature creation and literature communication.The dignitaries in Yao clan were countless,and talented people came out generation after generation with the endless imperial exams,which in Tang Dynasty is still flourishing.Especially in literature filed,Yao clan achieves fruitful results,many outstanding members in the clan,who have accomplishment in poetry,prose etc,is a important cultural gentry in Jiang dong area of Tang Dynasty.The first chapter outlines the development in medieval period of Yao clan,analyzing the origin of Yao,sorting out the process from “ mean family” to gentry and the development to the Tang Dynasty,concluding Yao improves their family status depending on inheriting from last generation,imperial examinations and marriage.The second chapter studies the family culture of Yao,discussing the family knowledge and family traditions,analyzing the influences of the family culture to the literature creation.The third chapter sorts out the literature work of Yao family,especially the poetry and prose,which is with many excellent works handed down,promoting the literature development in Tang Dynasty.The fourth chapter discusses the literature communication of Yao clan,studying the form of communication.That way can not only enlarge Yao's friend's scope and improve their family status,but also improve their literature quality and skill.Meanwhile,it affects the development of literature in Tang Dynasty,even the future times.The fifth chapter studies the influences of Yao's literature,focusing on analyzing the great achievement of few people in Yao family,who have great influences to the literature field.
