A Study Of Xi Jinping’s Series Of Speeches On Environmental Problems

The operation replaced manual work as the main productivity after industrial revolution,the world has thereby became more modernized.while the world and people’s lives are changing by machines,they also brought contamination accordingly."environment issue" has become an unavoidable global issue.Since conducting reform and opening up,China has made great achievements in its economy and modernization program,and has playing a more important role in international affairs.However,environmental problems also arise due to the neglectful way of economic development without considering the carrying capacity of the environment.Given the situation home and abroad,it is urgent for our government to deal with the environmental and ecological problems.Therefore,president Xi Jinping addressed a series of important remarks on this,which is contentive and enlightening and contained a set of new concepts,conclusions and ideas.The 18 th national congress of the cpc has put the ecological civiliazation construction as the same place to economic,political,cultural and social constructions,which are aim at promote socialism with chinese characteristics from.This article took president Xi Jinping’s speeches about environmental problems addressed on national and domestic conference as the object of research.Applied norman felkerlav’s paths and methods of discourse analysis,together with corpus research method.Analyzed from 3 dimensions of discourse text,discourse practices and social practices.By analyzing the environmental discourse of president Xi Jinping,this paper to explore the rhetorical features of his speech,he advocated the ecological values is how to present in the speech,his ecological civilization construction direction is how to set.How his environmental discourse affects the construction of ecological civilization in China,and how to apply it in the construction of ecological civilization in our country.In the external environment,to see how he is building the global concept of environmental responsibility and the image of China’s big country.
