The Features Of The Words Used By The Epic Singer Of ?Manas?

"Manas",dominated by the poetry,are a typical heroic epic with profound affinity to the people and ideology as well as a synthesis of folk comprehensive verbal art.The folk singer of the epic is also called "Manasqi" who focuses on its language,followed by the tone,gestures and actions,etc.Generally,verbal epics are narrated by vocal language,but the language in "Manas" was created in the special language for poetry refined by generations of singers,rather than daily used words.That is to say,the language of the verbal epic is a special kind of poetic language.The epic of "Manas" is sung by Manasqi with an organic combination of language and music,rich in musical sense and rhythm."Manasqi" – means the person to sing the epic of "Manas".Specifically,Manasqi acts as the creator,singer,communicator,preserver and developer of "Manas".This concept as a term has been widely used by civil masses since 1930 s.Before that,the epic singer of "Manas" was called the "narrator,teller and singer".Currently,a number of research results related to "Manas" and "Manasqi" exist both at home and abroad.A lot of information as well as many data related to the subject have been collected by many scholars through interviews with folk artists in the field survey.However,for the long epic with rich connotation,what kind of language and words should be used,and how did Manasqi find such beautiful language,all of which are worthy of further study.In view of this,the author would like to find out the problems that have not been discovered and the space that has not been excavated as well as provide additions by his own study,which is also the significance of this paper.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,in which Manasqi will be introduced and the research situation at home and abroad will also be introduced briefly.Specifically,Manasqi's language is the language of epic "Manas".Therefore,focus will be given on explaining the language,studying the language features by some domestic famous Manasqi-typed words,exploring unexplored places in "Manas" and making up the insufficiencies.The second part constitutes the focus and difficulty of this paper in that the language features of "Manas" Marries Canica sung by Kirgiz's three most famous singer,Sagymbai Orozbakov,Sagymbai Karalaev and Jusup Mamay will be studied and such phonetic and lexical features will be compared.In part 3,changes in some famous singing methods of "Manas" and local dialect vocabulary of Xinjiang Kezhou will be described.Focus will be given on the inclusion of local dialects in singing and the influence of changes in the daily used words and local dialect pronunciation on the epic of "Manas".The last part contains the conclusion,appendix,references and epilogue.In the appendix,features of the application of local dialect in some Manasqi's areas and papers published during the period of reading will be described.
