The Intergration Of Rational

Surrealism is not only a product of the first World War,but also a worldwide cultural trend,its emergence has a profound influence on western spirit and life.With the influx of various concepts of western modern art since the 1970 s,Surrealism become to be known by the public.As a kind of art form,.the Surrealist painting in China gradually forms its distinctive style,which is different from other countries.Expressing the human subconsciousness is the main principle of western Surrealist painting,while in China,due to its unique history and culture,rationality is integrated into the activity of surreal paintings.This paper intends to analyze the present situation of the Chinese Surrealist painting,its features and causes through specific cases.The analysis will be presented through the following four aspects: the brief history of western Surrealist painting and the influence of Surrealist painting and the influence of Surrealism to my painting.Through the discussions and analysis above,the characteristic of rationality integration in Chinese Surrealist painting will be elaborated.
