A Research Of André Gide’s Self Writing

André Gide,as a French writer,witnesses the sudden changes in the times,his creations combined with the characteristics of the times and the individual unique life insights,finding self-value,so that the lost self finds the direction of the line.Gide inherited some of the characteristics of the traditional novels,on this basis,it has gone beyond and this transcendence have a profound impact on the French literary school.This paper takes Gide’s novel as the main research object,on the basis of reading the text,taking the times,family and social background as the breakthrough point,combining with the creation and life of Gide,this paper mainly analyzes Gide and his works from the following three aspects:The first chapter analyzes the background and specific manifestation of Gide’s self lost.This chapter starts with the three real factors of politics,economy and culture,combined with the spirit of the times,and analyzes the influence of Schopenhauer,Nietzsche and Dostoevsky on Gide.Explaining how Gide combines the advantages of others in his works and then analyzing the two different mental states of Gide: internal performance for narcissism and external performance for homosexuality.The second chapter analyzes the presentation of Gide’s self writing.The theme of Gide’s works is clear,the questions surrounding Gide can be divided into three categories: emotional problems,moral problems and religious problems.On this basis,it can be divided into affection,love,morality,religious belief and political belief.These five aspects are combined to show the complexity and contradiction of Gide,and his works also showing a unique personal style.The third chapter analyzes the inheritance and transcendence of Gide in the process of self writing.Gide ’s Writing Techniques not only spread from psychology to symbolism,but also spread from the typical environment of the typical characters of the way to the development of "texture" structure,and the music creation of "fugue" form applied to his own creation.At the same time,it analyzes the concept of "anti-fiction" and modernity characteristics of Gide,and expresses the prospect of Gide’s view of modernism.
