The rapid development of information technology is profoundly changing the way of people's work and life.The wide application of mobile tools has brought increasing proportion of mobile learning,fragmented learning and other new ways of learning,blended teaching is becoming the entry point to fit the needs of social development and cultivation of talents,for promoting the research and practice of education.The contradiction between traditional college English teaching and the changing learning needs has been becoming increasingly prominent.How to integrate information technology,combine new teaching tools with traditional classroom education to structure and design the new model of college English teaching,is the key for college English to get out of the closed dilemma and improve the related problems.The article analyzes the related concepts of college English teaching and mobile learning,and puts forward the main research direction of this paper,that is,The Research on Design and Application of Blended College English Teaching integrated with Mobile Tools.Around the research topic,this paper makes use of mobile APP and campus Blackboard platform as the teaching tools and media,selects the unit three “Understanding Science” of New college English Integrated Course 1 as the specific teaching content,completes the design of college English resource model and blended teaching model integrated with mobile APP and Blackboard,with a view to improve the relevant problems in college English teaching and provide the operation mode and case experience that the follow-up study can learn from.The specific research process contains four stages,respectively,is the analysis of college English teaching,the design of college English teaching resource integrated with mobile APP and Blackboard,the design of college English teaching model and classroom practice integrated with mobile APP and Blackboard,and the survey about the applicability of mobile tools in college English teaching and related problems.This paper effectively integrates the related mobile tools,and creatively uses the mobile APP and Blackboard as the tools and media for college English teaching,and carries out the theme-based blended college English teaching design.In this framework,we completed the construction and analysis of resource model,teaching mode and practical activities,creating a blended teaching environment that integrated with mobile tools.Teachers are no longer the only source of teaching resources,students through the view,comment,submit and other functions to participate in the process of resource generation,more interaction and communication are occurred.At the same time,the teacher operates a hierarchical and organized combination of collective learning,self-learning,cooperative learning and other learning models with the use of mobile tools in the information-based teaching situation,to provide students with more varied learning methods and learning options.As the main medium of teaching,the mobile tool has become the bridge between class lecture and independent study,class evaluation and self-exploration.The time of classroom has been liberated,and more teaching activities and teaching evaluation have been carried out.The teacher's support and influence can also be beyond the limits of the classroom and run through every teaching link.It is the breakthrough for closed teaching environment,but also the effective complement and improvement for traditional college English teaching.
