Inthisarticle,Iattempttoreviewthedevelopmentofpaintingswiththethemeof Zhong Kuifromthe10 th centurytothe19thcenturyin Chinesepaintinghistory,usingspatialchangeasthecluefromthe perspectiveof“Style—Huayi”ofpaintings.Paintingswiththethemeof Zhong Kuihasalonghistoryandalargevariety.Itis auniquekindofpaintingsin Chinesepaintinghistory.Asa developingimageinnewhistorywithcomplicated backgroundofculturalchange,sedimentation andreflection,Zhong Kuipaintingsis developingcontinuously andhasbecometherepresentationofpaintingtraditionsin Chinesearthistory.Theresearchin Zhong Kuipaintingsfocusesonitsregions,forms,typesanditsculturalinfluences,using thediscourseframeworkof “differenrperiods—formdifference”.Basedonthis,myarticlediscussedtheshape andchangeofthistraditionalthemeandexplainstheculturalmeaningbehinditbyobservingtheinnerchange,usingthechangeofspaceuseasthebreakthrough.By looking back on the whole research history of this theme,this article makes a detailed analysis of the coreplotoflegendsabout Zhong Kuipaintingsin literature.Thisarticlealsodiscussesthecauseof Zhong Kui image and the position of Zhong Kui paintings in the history of paintings.Meanwhile,this article does a longitudinalresearchontherepresentative Zhong Kuiimageinordertodetectthedifferentimageconfiguration andpaintingstylesofdifferentperiods.Withtheclueofthechangeofitsposition,differentfunctionsasdifferent positionscanexplainthechangeofthemoodof Zhong Kuipaintings.Fromthestrongghostpaintingsin Tang Dynastytothesecularizationplotofpaintingsinthe Songand Yuan Dynasties,moreandmorepaintersjoinedin theartisticcreation,enlargingandenrichingthemeaningofit.Theyinjectednewlifeintothistraditionaltheme withfork character. |
