Combining Art And Science:The Study Of Scientific Documentary Made By David Attenborough

David Attenborough is a well-known scientist,who is also a famous scientific documentary producer and host of BBC.The scientific documentary which is made by him,such as "Life on Earth","Planet Earth","Frozen Planet" and "Africa",won the audience's interest around the world.From the first scientific documentary "Zoo Quest",the theme of documentary made by David Attenborough was always related to the nature.The study of him and his works is of great practical significance.In this paper,David Attenborough and his works are studied from six aspects.Firstly,defining the scientific documentary which is made by David Attenborough and making a brief overview of the history of documentary.Secondly,summarizing the British documentary movement and BBC where David Attenborough worked,to find out the influence on David Attenborough.Thirdly,analyzing how David Attenborough to make the documentary using the identity of scientist.Fourthly,researching the David Attenborough's writing and hosting skills of the commentary.Fifthly,making a brief analysis on David Attenborough's documentary from previous preparation,shoot and post productionSixthly,according to the successful experience of David Attenborough,trying to find some references for the producer of scientific documentary and the development of documentary industry in China.
