Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Development Of Piano Teaching In Xinjiang Arts University Under Multiculture Background

Xinjiang Arts University is the only one comprehensive arts university in Northwest China and have opened piano courses since it was founded in 1958.It has nurtured a large group of arts talents for Chinese art field in the past over 50 years.This paper sorted the development history of piano teaching in Xinjiang Arts University,did a research on and analyzed the current situation of piano teaching and summarized teachers,teaching mode,textbooks’ construction and curriculum setting through referring to and investigating numerous materials,which aims at making a reasonable analysis and comprehensive understanding on the embryonic form,development and improvement of piano teaching in Xinjiang Arts University and providing reference for the development of piano teaching in Xinjiang.This paper was divided into four parts: The first part mainly expounded methods,meaning object and scale of the research.It gave comments on the development trend of piano teaching and some relevant literature through researching.The second one summarized the four periods of development of piano teaching in Xinjiang Arts University under the multiculture background including embryonic form period,the Cultural Revolution period,recovery period,and developing period.The third one did a research and shared the analysis of current situation of piano teaching in Xinjiang Arts University and the author mainly did a research from such fourperspectives as teachers,teaching mode,textbooks’ construction and curriculum setting and stated the advantages and disadvantages of piano teaching.The fourth one advices on problems of development of piano teaching in Xinjiang Arts University given by the author hoping to provide theoretic understanding and support for development of piano art in Xinjiang.
