In order to analyze the essence of the word “gun”in “gunlonglianxiang”from the action aspect and spiritual aspect.this paper starts from the exploring of the history of t he folk dance”lianxiang” of the han nationality,then through the investigation,researc hing and study of the folk dance“gunlonglianxiang” of the Tujia nationality in Hubei province,from the characteristics of the folk dancing inheritor,then deep into the old artist's life experience and understanding of the arts.Here is a fresh new understanding and cognition,according to the survey of the h istory,developing and the current status of “gunlonglianxiang”.Then discussing the m eaning of inheritance of folk dance through the transformation from nature to classroo m then onto stage.The paper proposes a thinking of the inheritance and changing of t he “gunlonglianxiang” through the conducting and analyzing of the report simultaneo usly,to make more and more people clearly recognize the overall outline and the spec ific actions and style characteristics of “gunlonglianxiang” so that dancers can study a nd innovation to carry forward the traditional culture.
