The Writing Features And Singing Treatment Of Aria "Peacefulness And Tranquility"

"Peacefulness and Tranquility" is an extract of love opera "The Power of Destiny" created by Verdi,which is a very vivid vocal music,including lyric melody and wide range.There is strong conflict in the drama,embodying music style in the romantic era and thoroughly showing confusion,contradictory and emotions with love and hate from the heroine Leonora.Three points are discussed in this thesis from three perspectives.Firstly,it is a overview of the opera,in which background and contents are known.And then,two aspects of aria are analyzed in detail.On the one hand,it is writing features of "Peacefulness and Tranquility";on the other hand,it is singing treatment.By learning and singing this aria,I further understand its writing features and singing treatment.For singers and learners,writing features are not only learned,but the artistic charm of this aria is intuitively felt.It is expected that this thesis can provide come reference and help to lovers of vocal music in future.
