Chinese traditional national vocal music art form a relatively independent,with rich ethnic customs and regional style after thousands of years of development.It covers many kinds,including primitive folk songs,adapted folk songs,folk songs of different nationalities,Chinese traditional drama,quyi and national operas,and so on.Chinese national vocal music art has rich oriental aesthetic features and various singing methods,it is loved by the people of all ethnic groups in China.Since the founding of new China,China’s national vocal music has made great progress.Lanying Guo and Liyuan Peng are two representative singers in the process of development.Lanying Guo will be the traditional drama and folk song singing skills perfect fusion,so her voice strong bright,clear and vivid,singing style,simple and strong flavor,her song is a typical example of Chinese national vocal music in1950s-1980 s.Liyuan Peng represents the "new song" of Chinese national vocal music after 1980 s,she combines chinese traditional folk singing and bel canto,retains the advantages of traditional folk singing,vioce clearly and cavity rhyme.she also brought national vocal range wider,phonation more scientific and vocal timbre more rich.Liyuan Peng and Lanying Guo sang opera The White-Haired Girl in different periods,due to differences in their singing methods and grasp the characters of accuracy,by people from all walks of life affectionately called as The Second Generation Xier" and The Third Generation Xier.In this paper,the classic song Hen Si Gao Shan Chou Si Hai from the opera The White-Haired Girl was the key point to study the difference between Lanying Guo and Liyuan Peng in two aspects: singing skills and ways of dealing(this paper summarized as singing tune skill and singing tune musicality).In the course of the discussion,in order to make the research more detailed and thorough,the author uses the example method and the atlas analysis method as much as possible I.A comparative study of Lanying Guo and Liyuan Peng’s singing tune can deepen the understanding of traditional national vocal music,reveal the development process of Chinese national vocal music since twentieth Century and future development direction.This paper is divided into three chapters: the first chapter introduces Lanying Guo and Liyuan Peng’s life experience and the opera The White-Haired Girl and the song Hen Si Gao Shan Chou Si Hai,which pave the way for the study;this paper’s the most important part is differences of singing tune skill and musicality of Lanying Guo ang Liyuan Peng,including breath,resonance,true and false mixed voice and even pause-liaision and so on,at the same time,analyzes the historical reasons,which resulted in Lanying Guo and Liyuan Peng different singing tune;the third chapter summarizes the significance of comparative study of Lanying Guo and Liyuan Peng,and points out that national vocal music should continue the development direction of inheritance and innovation synchronistica. |
