The research tested pupils in Shagou Primary School in Dabanqiao,Kunming with AAT and EMBU,and interviewed some of the teachers,pupils and guardians to explore pupils' learning adaptability,parenting styles and their relation.And the explanatory power of parenting style to learning adaptability was also discussed.The research was done to provide theoretical foundation for teachers,parents and demonstration schools for parents in national minority habitation.And the results were as below:(1)In the middle grade,students' learning adaption were significant.Boys' physical and mental healthy problems were more than those of girls'.(2)In senior grade,student's learning adaption was significant.Boys learning adaption level was lower than that of girls.Pupil of Yi nationality's learning adjustment and was worse than that of Han nationality.(3)Pupils' parenting pattern tended to be uniform but negative.(4)Parenting pattern were significant different between genders,student resources and nationalities.(5)Parents with different jobs and marital status took different parenting style.(6)Pupils' learning adaptability in Yi settlement and was obviously relevant.But the explanatory power is very low.(4)The results of the interview showed that pupils learning adaption is not good.School management,student's perseverance and leaning method were the constraints.
