The Status And Relations Research About Empathy,Coping Style And Interpersonal Relationship Of Applied Psychological

Nowadays,our country is in a high-speed transitional period,as the pace of life is speeding up,the pressure of competition is increasing,the personal mental behavior problems and their accompanying social problems are becoming obviously.This situation make us to face the reality that is the currently available psychological workers cannot meet the demands of the mental health services.As the reserve force for social psychological healthy service,students of psychology unexpectedly received less attention in psychological research.Hence,this essay choose psychological undergraduates as object of study.It is well known that psychological undergraduates adopt more altruistic behaviors than others,and the ability of empathy make the direct influence to those altruistic behaviors,otherwise,the tendentiousness and diversity of coping style and good relationship are beneficial for the development of college students.Through reviewing literature,author found that in domestic research,the study which selected empathy,coping style and relationship as variables at same time was absence,therefore,author decided to choose these three variables into study and to analyze the status and relationship.This research adopted three questionnaires: the revised version of Interpersonal Reactivity Index-C of Jingji Wu,Coping Style Questionnaire of Jihua Xiao and Xiufeng Xu,and Comprehensive Diagnostic Scale for Interpersonal Relationship of College Students of Richang Zheng.With these scales,author selected 908 applied psychological undergraduates from 5 universities in Yunnan as tests objects,and used Epidata to logging data from valid questionnaires,then used statistical software for descriptive analysis,T test,variance analysis,correlation and regression analysis,and the mediating effect test.author systematically analyzed the status of empathy,coping style and personal relationship of applied psychological students,and found the differences of these variables in demography variables,and also studied the relation of these three variables.Research conclusions are as follows:(1)The level of empathy of psychological undergraduates in Yunnan province is above average.In that way,gender,nationality,only-child or not,exercise habit,current life satisfaction,in intimate relationship or not,play online game or not,the atmosphere of school,class,the education level of father and mother,all these demographic variables would significantly influence the empathy of applied psychology students in Yunnan Province in one or multiple stage.(2)In general,applied psychology undergraduates of Yunnan tend to choose positive and mature coping style.Author has found that gender,origin of students,study literal arts or science in high school,exercise habit,current life satisfaction,in intimate relationship or not,play online game or not,the number of romantic relationship,the harmony atmosphere of class and school,and class leader or not,those demographic variables would significantly influence the coping style of applied psychology students in Yunnan Province in one or multiple stage.(3)In general,the interpersonal relationship of applied psychology students in Yunnan has existed a certain degree of puzzlement.And gender,origin of students,study literal arts or science in high school,only-child or not,exercise habit,current life satisfaction,in intimate relationship or not,play online game or not,age,grade,the number of romantic relationship,the harmony atmosphere of class and school,and class leader or not,family economic status and education level of mother,those demographic variables would significantly influence the interpersonal relationship of applied psychology students in Yunnan Province in one or multiple stage.(4)For applied psychology undergraduates in Yunnan,the empathy,coping style and interpersonal relationship are in a pair wise correlations.The personal pain and imagination of empathy can predict the interpersonal relationship positively with self-accusation and illusion of coping style,and the perspective taking of empathy can predict interpersonal relationship negatively like problem-solving ability and assistant-asking of coping style do.(5)For applied psychology undergraduates in Yunnan,the empathy can not only influences the interpersonal relationship significantly and directly,but also affects in indirect way,and coping style is the intervening variable.
