The Study Of Pakistan's Christians

Christians in Pakistan are the nation's largest religious minority.In Pakistan,after a long time,Christians has made an immeasurable contribution for the people's livelihood.There are a large number of Christians in the ruling elite.But since 1970 s,Pakistan Christians had not only became the target of attacks by militant groups,but also suffered from multiple levels of persecution and discrimination.Their lives were full of fear and uncertainty,and had been marginalized for a long time,especially in politics,justice,society and religion.All this is the result of the special historical,political,legal and social conditions of Pakistan.The government of Pakistan,the Christian and the international community had taken a series of measures to deal with it.This paper analyzes the status quo of Pakistan Christians from three aspects:history,current situation and difficulties,the root of the problem and the efforts of all parties.The historical part of this paper describes the rise and spread of Christianity in the South Asian subcontinent.The current situation and the plight of the Christians in Pakistan describes the status quo and difficulties,and analysis the plight of Christians in Pakistan from the political,judicial,social and religious aspects of the four levels.The third part makes an in-depth analysis of the root causes of the present situation of Christians in Pakistan,as well as the efforts have been made to address the plight of Christians in South Asia.
