Psychological Elements Application In The Urban Park Landscape Design Research

The urban park is not only a recreational place for residents to entertain themselves and have a rest,but also a courier station for metropolitans to communicate with others,release their pressure,relax their bodys and quiet their minds.Therefore,it is a tendency in future research and development that the landscape design for the urban park is becoming more diversified and humanized.On the basis of the reference to some materials about domestic and overseas landscape design for the urban park which combine with the environmental psychology,and the field research on some urban parks,the author has done a systematic and theoretical analysis and research on the current situation of many urban parks in Kun Shan,Su Zhou with the application of behavioral psychology and environmental psychology.According to these researches,the author summaries that Maslow's hierarchy of needs,which adheres to the people-oriented and takes the psychological factors of the main body into a full consideration to achieve the harmony of people and nature in its true sense,has a great guiding and practical significance to the landscape design of urban parks.As everyone knows,on the one hand,the urban park is a environment exquisite forest space in the city as well as the most important component of the ecologicalsystem.The citizens also desire to appreciate the natural scenery in the cities.Because in their minds,the urban park is an Oasis in the reinforced concrete desert.On the other hand,the urban park has great effects on beautifying the urban environment,improving environment quality and capabilities of disaster prevention and reduction.The design of the city,which expresses the human's attitudes towards the relationship between human and nature,is a process of imitating the nature.Both landscape designers,artists and ordinary people should participate in the design of the park.It is a collaborative process creates a recreational place that is fit for human consumption.Thus,aim to create a pleasant,comfortable and safeemotional city Oasis.This designing scheme integrates the psychological factors into the design of the urban park,digs the geneogenous and posteriority demands and follows the relevant principles.This thesis is based on the relevant theories and concepts of environmental psychology.It also combines the local geographic position,climatic characteristics and cultural features.In oder to adjust measures to local conditions,this thesis puts forward the design idea and concrete of the Low-Carbon theme park in Kun Shan,which is beneficial to the combination of the urban park design with the environmental psychology and provides a further support for the researches later.
