A Preliminary Study On Yan Di Cultural Relics In The Southeast Of Shanxi

Yan Di is the humanities father of the Chinese nation,has always been respected and revered by scions of Yan and Huang.The academic circles have been discussing Yan Di’s related historic for a long time,such as the relationship between Shen-nong and Yan Di,the place of birth and the age of Yan Di.Although rich research results have been achieved,there is still no final answer to these questions.So this paper take Yan Di as a cultural phenomenon to study,the cultural relics of Yan Di in the southeast of Shanxi Province are selected as the research object.Firstly,on the basis of the academic predecessor’ research,make clear the connotation and extension of Yan Di culture,it includes not only the farming culture,the culture of Chinese medicine,market transactions,primitive art and social civilization created by the primitive clan ancestors in the long-term production and practice history under Yan Di’s leadership,but also all the material and nonmaterial cultural relics of Yan Di.Then,from the local natural geographical environment and agricultural archaeological discovery,to discuss the natural and cultural background of the cultural relics of Yan Di in the southeast of Shanxi Province.The superior natural geographical environment and the old and Neolithic cultural sites all over the whole area are the important conditions for the emergence and development of the agricultural culture of Yan Di.Through literature review and field investigation,this paper makes a survey of the basic situation of the cultural relics of Yan Di in the southeast of Shanxi Province.The Yang Tou mountain with Lao Ding mountain,Fa Jiu mountain,Li Hou ridge make up an Yan Di cultural relics regional system,and the 50 Yan Di temples spread in various towns and villages are an important data for our study of Yan Di culture.Then,from the perspective of region distribution,architectural form and sacrificial form,to study the characteristics of the cultural relics.The cultural relics of Yan Di as the material carrier of the Yan Di’s belief.So,with the study of the characteristics of the cultural relics of Yan Di in the southeast of Shanxi Province,this paper studies the Yan Di’s belief culture,explore its development trajectory,feel the Yan Di culture in the local people have a very high cultural identity.The cultural connotation of the Yan Di ’s belief in the southeast of Shanxi Province is very rich,which is different from other regions,and interact with the local Buddhist culture.Finally,it is of great significance to promote the development of the cultural tourism in Shanxi province by developing the culture resources of the Yan Di culture.At present,the departments and organizations of Gaoping and Changzhi have made a lot of planning and work,and achieved important results.However,the development of the brand culture of Yan Di culture is still far from enough,this paper puts forward some suggestions.
