Research On The Gender Differences Of Love Psycho-verbs Based On The Blog Corpus

Based on Three Planes Theory,this thesis adopts data statistics,comparative analysis,the combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to study the gender differences of love psycho-verbs in the blog corpus.It aims to deepen the research on psycho-verbs and make gender difference research more systematically.The thesis is divided into seven parts:The first part is the introduction.It introduces the purpose,significance,method of the research and the sources of corpus;besides,it introduces the current situation of the study on psycho-verbs and gender differences,as well as the deficiencies of present researches.The second part is to research the distribution of love psycho-verbs in the blog corpus.We use the results of the study of Wen Yali and Xu Chi——39 categories of love psycho-verbs——as the research object;describe their distribution in the man and woman blogs respectively,which includes frequency,and love psycho-verbs which man and woman share or the one used by each group individually.The third part is to describe the gender differences in syntax.This part mainly investigates the gender differences of object type,syntactic function and the ability of equipping with degree adverbs.The fourth part is to describe the gender differences of love psycho-verbs in semantic field.This part mainly discuss the types and amount of semantic roles associated with the love psycho-verbs in the man and woman's blog.The fifth part is to describe the gender differences of love psycho-verbs in pragmatic domin.It mainly describes the distribution in different sentence types and shi clause that indicate emphasis.The sixth part is to explain the gender differences of love psycho-verbs from physiological,psychological and social perspectives.The seventh part is the conclusion.This part mainly introduces the conclusion of this thesis and points out the existing problems and the insufficiency of the research.
