Cognitive Study On TV Series Names Based On Conceptual Integration

In modern life entertainment style is getting more and more,in which TV plays accounted for a large part.The naming of TV plays has a very important relationship with people's perception,psychology,thinking and cognition of the outside world.We have deepened our understanding of the theory of title and conceptual integration through the analysis and elaboration of the epistemological mechanism of TV plays,and it provides a new way to understand the TV plays.We take TV plays names which including metaphor and metonymy as research objects.The collection of 701 titles is closed,including 506 metaphor classes,204 metonymic classes,and 61 metonymy classes.First of all,we divide the metaphor class into 11 subclasses,and the metaphor class into 10 subclasses.Then we sum up that the metaphor class in the natural meteorology,animal,human body,plant,color five categories occupy a large proportion.In metonymy class the event metonymy and metonymy about digital occupy a large proportion.Each category in the subject matter also have some differences and the small class in different themes used in the words also have obvious differences and patterns.We also summarize the questions that appear in the TV drama and propose some proposals.Finally based on some theories of cognitive linguistics,such as mental space,conceptual integration,metaphor and metonymy theory,we make further research of semantic construction and cognitive mechanism of the names,dividing the conceptual integration processes into two kinds: single conceptual integration and multiple conceptual integrations.We find that metaphorical concept integration play the most important part in single conceptual integration,however,metonymy conceptual integration play an important role in multiple conceptual integration.
