Francis Bacon(Francis Bacon,1909-1992)was one of the Britain's most important artist in twentieth century,on the one hand,his painting jumps away from the grand narrative and general trend of modern art from reappearance to abstraction,on the other hand,different from the same period of geometric abstraction and abstract expressionism genre etc,the painting has a unique sense of space.At present,the study of Bacon's artistic style mostly starts from the formation of painting image,painting technique,painting style and social background.This article attempts to take Bacon's “the screaming Pope” as an example,taking the Pope of and s as historical clues,through observation and historical research methods to analyze Bacon painting more direct and basic sense than the visual,that is haptic and presentation,and summarize and elaborates Bacon painting to present creation enlightenment.
