This thesis is based on the second language acquisition theories.By using combined methods of data statistics,contrastive analysis and experimental phonetics based on Computer Science,this research includes the analysis on the results of listening and distinguishing test of every single monosyllabic Chinese Mandarin tone,disyllabic tones which includes one 3rd tone at least and trisyllabic tones which means triple 3rd tones united,and also the study on Chinese Mandarin tones recording experiments,targeting six local students from the Confucius Institute of Santo Tomas University in Chile who’ve already learned Chinese Mandarin tones systematically.With regard to listening and distinguishing test,the degree of listening and distinguishing difficulty of every single monosyllabic Chinese Mandarin tone is concluded according to these six local testees,that is 1st tone>2nd tone>3rd tone≈4th tone.Meanwhile,with the application of multiple assembled tones,the degree of listening and distinguishing difficulty and all error types of disyllabic tones and trisyllabic tones are summarized detailedly in the thesis.In the part of Chinese Mandarin tones recording experiments,this thesis proceeds with the experimental design,recording samples collection,data analysis and conclusion of every single monosyllabic Chinese Mandarin tone,disyllabic tones and trisyllabic tones,targeting not only these six local students but also four teachers added for contrastive analysis purpose.In the last part,with the help of the results of the listening and distinguishing test,the characteristics and principles of Chinese Mandarin tones recording experiments concluded above,this thesis formulates a brand new describing or marking scheme for Chinese Mandarin tones,four tones’ EMOJ and several effective and practical methods for Chinese Mandarin pronunciation teaching.
