Closed space-time narrative films are undoubtedly important texts to study space and time inmovies. These movies often contain the typical character image——called the "intruder" which isworth studying. It is an important way to grasp the practice law of the film narrative art throughanalyzing film narrative space-time.In the context of contemporary narrative theory, time is introduced to redefine film narrativeclosed space-time. The thesis explains how the typical "intruder" character is shaped and set in the closed space-time narrative films.The thesis mainly selected Oscar winning films and nominations from 1955 to 2015 which including "closed space-time+intruder" model. The "intruder" is classified according to the functionand expression forms of the characters in the films. By the time background, nationalcharacteristics, cultural causes, social development and other aspects, this thesis studies the importance of characterization. It analyses the creation rules and aesthetic implication of the "closedspace-time+intruder" narrative pattern. In addition,by comparing the same types of domestic films,it can help our researchers and filmmakers make up the gap in the research field and provide newideas and references for the creation of domestic films. |
