The Influence Of Qi Bai Shi Five Travels On His Painting Innovation

Obviously,Baishi Qi was one of the most famous and influential maestro during the twentieth Century China,he has made great achievement in poetry,writing,drawing and also the carving.Owning to his great contribution in the inheritance and revolution of traditional Chinese drawing,he was respected by all subsequent artist.During the last century,he made constant innovation in drawing field and opens up a new drawing trend.Since 1950 s,it has becomes a hot topic for the artist everywhere of the world to study his works and drawing style.However,There is no doubt that the study of how the five trips affected his painting innovation is almost vacant.In view of this,our research focused on how the five trips affected his painting innovation.By reading the related literature and we will discussed this topic from the following four aspects.Firstly,the influence of society of that time,the background of his travelling and the significance of the travelling.This chapter is mainly talked about his early experience,an occasionally chance during this period he made acquaintance with the most important people in his life baoshen Guo and wuyi Xia,and from that time he began his remote travelling.Secondly,we put forward the revolution of his old age by the connection of his enjoying the Predecessors' drawing,and also together with his own drawing and his experience of travelling.Thirdly,we analysis his drawing of the three different stage.Before his travelling he was mostly influenced by qinyuan Hu and mainly focused on traditional Chinese realistic painting,and his style was elegant and full of uniformity,his paint was mainly used the realistic way and created the figures elaborated,all of this reflected his careful observation.After his remote travelling he began changed his drawing style from traditional Chinese realistic painting to freehand brushwork,his painting reflected a profound feeling no matter from configuration and conformation.When he stepped into his own old age,his painting style becomes more and more stabilized and he created a way of freehand brushwork this on the other hand broke up with the traditional Chinese painting style.Lastly,we discussed his innovation on painting and his five times remote trips,all of the remote trips made him more professional and thoughtful.Based on these research we analyzed his painting theory,his painting innovation practice also his painting theme after all of these we come up with the topic of this paper The influence of Baishi Qi five trips on his painting innovation.The remote trips affected his painting and innovation,what is more these also shed light on modern artist who create their own works by applied pictures.Baishi's painting style integrated with the traditional Chinese painting,on the other hands reflected the pure thought of Chinese people.His painting reflected the demand of Twentieth Century and reached highest level of modern Chinese drawing arts.
