Lu Sheng was the first person in China who studies logic history of ancient China.The Preface of Mo Bian Zhu was a pearl in troubled times,although it less than three hundred words,but contained rich contents.Lu Sheng had proposed many creative insights in this article.Lu Sheng analysised and summaryed the logic of PreQin.First,he summed up the history of the Mingbian before the Qin dynasty,and revealed the connotation and function of debate,and pointed out the origin and importance of debate.Secondly,he summarized the content and purpose of the debate before the Qin dynasty.Put forward six debate questions: “Mingshi”,“Jianbai”,“Wuxu”,“Youwu”,“Tongyi”,“Shifei”.The ultimate goal of debate is about prosperity of the country.Finally,he point out the original intention of wrote the Mo Bian Zhu " happy to be continue ".Through the understanding of modern logic scholars to Lu Sheng and the introductory of Mo Bian Zhu.There are three controversial issues:the first is whether the Mozi wrote by Mo-tse,the second is whether Huishi and Gongsun long inherited the logic thoughts from Mo-tse,the third is the evaluation on Lusheng and the introductory of Mo Bian Zhu.The introductory has great theoretical contribution to the study of Chinese ancient logic.Lu Sheng takes the form logic as the research object of Chinese ancient logic,and used historical data to research the history of Chinese ancient logic.But it also have two limitations,Daqu and Xiaoqu was not inclued in Mobian.Lusheng didn't talk about the debate principle of " Class" and " Reason ".Although the introductory was lost,but according to the background of Lu Sheng and analysed the introductory of Mo Bian Zhu.We can still have a glimpse of the logical thoughts of Lu Sheng.
