Logo is a kind of identification mark,which is designed to convey specific information and image.It is widely used in various fields of modern society.In today’s highly homogeneous products in the era of social and market recognition of the needs of the increasingly accurate and personalized trends.At the same time,the logo is a carrier,carrying the aesthetic experience,cultural connotations,industry characteristics and business culture.Therefore,the logo design in any case,the need for a "balance" : rational convey between function and artistic expression of the balance between perceptual experience and personality;common communication balance;traditional culture and contemporary aesthetic balance;figurative expression and form a balance between abstraction.With the rapid development of China’s economic strength,people’s sense of self-identity and cultural self-confidence is growing,and gradually jumped out of the past blindly imitate the pattern of other countries,began to seek the foundation of their own civilization.In this context,how to enhance the economic strength,while enhancing the competitiveness of culture has become a hot topic in recent years.As a traditional pattern bearing the profound cultural heritage and the understanding,induction,generalization and deduction of the objective world,it is the material of the cultural significance of logo design.At the same time,the application of traditional patterns in modern design has its own problems and limitations.the traditional "shape","color","quality" in line with the current era of aesthetic expectations? Is it helpful to the spread of contemporary signs? The value and connotation of traditional culture can be accepted by today’s audience?Lotus pattern,as a kind of traditional pattern,has the characteristics of wide distribution and distinctive national features,and has certain research value and design potential.This paper will research on Chinese traditional patterns in the lotus pattern,to find a way of application of traditional patterns in logo design,hoping to use traditional elements in the design of the workers,to provide a reference sample,that enhance the elements of local Chinese design masterpiece contribution.
